• अनुशंसित दैनिक मात्रा से अधिक सेवन न करें।
• यदि लक्षण गंभीर, लगातार बने रहने वाले, बार-बार होने वाले या बढ़ते जा रहे हों, तो योग्य चिकित्सक से परामर्श लें।
• बच्चों एवं बुजुर्गों में सावधानीपूर्वक उपयोग करें तथा आयु के अनुसार उचित मात्रा निर्धारित करें।
• गर्भावस्था या स्तनपान के दौरान केवल चिकित्सक की सलाह से सेवन करें।
• दीर्घकालिक गुर्दे के रोग या किसी अन्य गंभीर स्वास्थ्य समस्या से ग्रस्त व्यक्ति सेवन से पहले चिकित्सक की सलाह लें।
• यदि रोगी नियमित रूप से अन्य औषधियों का सेवन कर रहा हो, तो संभावित औषधि-अंतःक्रियाओं से बचने के लिए चिकित्सकीय सलाह लेना उचित है।
• किसी भी असामान्य या एलर्जिक प्रतिक्रिया होने पर सेवन बंद कर चिकित्सकीय सलाह लें।
• बच्चों की पहुँच से दूर रखें।
